Pursuant to statutory and constitutional obligations, provides management and legal direction for all Public Defender and indigent defense legal services, as authorized by the County and the Courts.
Oversees all operations for the Public Defender's Office
Eight (8) years of experience as a practicing attorney (preferably in the public sector), including at least six (6) years in criminal defense representation (or combination of criminal and juvenile defense) with three (3) years of supervisory/management experience.
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited college or university. License to practice law and membership in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona.
