WESTERN NEW ENGLAND SCHOOL OF LAW seeks innovative, service-oriented candidates for an Associate Director of the Law Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Law Library, overseeing a dedicated team that delivers exceptional services and programs to all patrons. This position works collaboratively with the Associate Dean and other library staff to manage the library budget and resources; develop and implement new services and programs; and perform other duties necessary to achieve the Law Library’s mission. This position provides reference services one evening per week, one Saturday per month, and other times as needed. This position will remain open until filled.

Requirements

Master’s degree in library and information science from an institution accredited by the American Library Association. JD or substantial completion toward this degree or a combination of education, training, and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position’s essential duties. Significant experience in academic law librarianship. Demonstrated management and leadership skills. Record of participation in professional development activities.
