Foley and Lardner’s Miami office is seeking a Corporate Immigration Paralegal. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of corporate experience with demonstrated knowledge of research, drafting and preparing complex employment, investment and treaty –based visa petitions, H-3 Trainee, Individual L or L-blanket petitions, E-1/E-2 treaty/trader investor visas, EB-5 investor visas, and TN, H-1B, and E-3 visas. This candidate will also have experience with extraordinary ability visas, National Visa Center processing, Consular Processing or immigrant/non-immigrant visas, and AOS processes. Additionally, this candidate will have knowledge of the U.S. Department of Labor procedures for corporate immigration, such as preparing and filing labor condition applications, resolving client registration and processing issues, crafting ads for PERM Labor Certification, and managing recruitment through submitting applications to DOL, in compliance with federal requirements.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking and writing skills preferred. Must be organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines, and work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team. Desired requirements include either a Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience.
