Pepper Hamilton is hiring an Associate Recruitment Coordinator in Philadelphia to help coordinate the associate hiring program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lateral Associate Hiring
Manage interview scheduling, collection of evaluation feedback and coordination of travel arrangement for candidates
Maintain contact with candidates and search firm consultants
Greet candidates as necessary
Coordinate conflicts screening and reference checking process for new hires
Prepare new hire paperwork and collaborate with other departments to facilitate new hire arrival
Maintain candidate tracking database (viRecruit)
Coordinate post-offer follow-up
Distribute new hire notices internally
Process payments for search firms, travel reimbursement, relocation reimbursement, etc.
Assist with implementing law school student recruiting programs, including marketing and outreach efforts at law schools
Assist with administering the summer associate program, including training and information sessions, social events, and supporting the Hiring and Summer Associates Committees
Communicate with candidates
Schedule callback interviews
Coordinate travel arrangements for candidates through the Firm’s Travel Department
Assist with coordinating post-offer follow-up
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
Prior experience in professional recruiting, development and/or law firm background; Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient at multitasking and managing multiple priorities; Able to handle time sensitive, confidential projects in a high volume, fast-paced department; Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills; Must have flexibility in working overtime to meet operating needs
Related Training and Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree; At least 2 years of professional recruiting, development and/or law firm experience; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, document storage systems (including FileSite) and viDesktop
