Attorney will assist member companies with advice and counsel with employment-based immigration issues. Other responsibilities include representation of employers before state and federal administrative agencies, public speaking, training, and a substantial amount of interaction with member companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must be able to assist members with 1-9 questions
Process visa applications and petitions
Train member company employees on immigration issues
Prepare materials and presentations for classes that are taught both on the employer's site and on an employer client's site or other facility procured by the member for training purposes
Talk through member issues as well as competently draft position statements
ELS staff should feel comfortable assisting members with multiple and complex legal issues and recognizing and addressing potential risks and legal issues with each situation
Must be able to review employee handbooks from a legal perspective
Additional Salary Information: Downtown Denver work location with paid parking.
