Office: Washington, DC Department: Information Technology (Firmwide) Reports To: Director, IT Administration FLSA Status: Exempt Schedule: Core Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday; additional hours as required to fulfill responsibilities _____________________________________________________________________________ GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Director, IT Administration, and following prescribed department, office and firm procedures, the Manager, IT Administration will be responsible for financial, budgetary, procurement, contractual and general administrative functions of the IT department. The Manager, IT Administration will also liaise with the IT Department’s various functional units, and as well as with the firm’s other business services departments outside of information technology. In addition, the Manager will work with the Firm’s Office of the General Counsel. The Manager, IT Administration is expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the firm’s clients, attorneys, advisors and staff, and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Above all, the Manager, IT Administration must fulfill the needs of the firm in a manner which is consistent with the Firm's Core Values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties are performed throughout every work day, as necessary): - Invoice Analysis, Review and Approval -- ensure that remittances align with vendor contracts and commitments for IT equipment and services
- Expense Report Approval
- Budget preparation -- Assist with planning, development and management of the department’s annual and multi-year Expense and Capital budgets
- Vendor contract negotiation – work with vendors to secure effective and appropriate Master Service Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, Statements of Work, Service Orders and other contractual instruments. In this function will also work closely with the General Counsel’s office, the firm’s Project Management Office, as well as the affected business services stakeholders
- Requests For Proposals – assist with preparation of RFP’s for IT equipment and services
- Procurement – work with vendors and IT and firm stakeholders in all phases of the procurement process to secure the most financially advantageous transactions
- Perform lease-vs-buy, ROI and NPV analysis
- IT Asset Management – work with the IT Department’s Operations and Security groups to conduct and maintain accurate and updated asset inventory of all IT Hardware and Software Licenses
- Fixed Assets – work with Finance to manage and keep current the IT Department’s Fixed Asset Schedules
- Contract Repository Management – assist with the management of the departmental contracts and other material within the online contract management platform
- BYOD – work with the departmental Administrative Assistant to manage the reimbursements and assessments of the Bring Your Own Device program
- Other projects as needed
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Ability to read, write and speak English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
- Experience with ROI and NPV financial analysis tools preferred
- Strong attention-to-detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Vendor negotiations experience desired

EDUCATIONAL/JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the fields of Accounting, Finance or Information Technology
- 5+ years’ experience working in the information technology section of a large law firm or other professional services organization preferred but not required
