The PC and Mobility Manager is responsible for the development, design, and implementation of the firm’s user facing endpoint strategy and a strategic and hands-on technical leader of the PC and Mobility team. This includes Windows management (SCCM), Citrix XenApp, Desktop as a Service (DaaS), mobile applications (MAM), mobile security (2FA), device provisioning (MDM, WDS), device lifecycle, deployment, and management strategies. This role will focus on the roadmap and strategy of mobility, featuring devices running the operating systems Windows, Citrix, Apple iOS/OSX, and Android. Office 365.
Develop a strategy and roadmap that continues our work towards ubiquitous mobile computing, in line with our existing mobile-first and zero trust strategies, that recognize and recognizes our high expectations for mobile working (not just viewing), fault tolerance / disaster mitigation, confidentiality and discoverability, and simplicity of user experience
Provide technical hands-on leadership to design, oversee installations, and continue maintenance of related systems such as SCCM, Citrix, AirWatch/Workspace One, JAMF, and Intune environments, to include applications and updates, and their integrations into business critical applications, including iManage, Exchange 2016, Office 365, SharePoint 2019, and Windows Server
Lead a team of PC and Mobility Engineers, manage daily tasks, projects, and incidents escalated from the Technical Support Center and Network Operations Center
Follow the Modern IT methodology for endpoint devices, including hardware certification, provisioning, OS imaging, testing, inventory, software and patch distribution, and policy compliance
Develop and maintain relevant Active Directory Structures, Group Policies, certificate services, Bitlocker, USMT, WDS, and related core technologies to support the devices and operating systems
Provide guidance and strategic assistance in the planning, selection, and design of new systems to reach the objectives of the PC and Mobility strategies, addressing both the big picture perspectives and the technical details
Work with and understand other IS teams, in particular the Technical Support, Network Operations, User Experience, and Technology Learning and Change Teams, and use system metrics and feedback to close gaps in usability, life cycle replacement, and/or upgrade of applications
Respond to and resolve reported issues and unplanned outages within the firm’s Service Level Agreements. Assign problem tickets as appropriate and follow up
Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical problems and performances issues effecting applications
Coordinate pertinent actions with vendors, contractors, and consultants
Work with the Technical Support Center to operationalize support processes according to project plans and documented support flow
Work with the Operations team to implement thresholds and maintain proper monitoring and response within SLAs
Be available on-call and after hours as necessary to support applications
Lead monthly off-hours maintenance window for PC and Mobility system
Work can require more than 35 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position

Bachelor’s degree required
3 years Supervisory or Management experience of a PC and Mobility engineering team required
5 years of demonstrated technical and leadership experience in architecture of enterprise level PC and Mobility solutions. Certifications in SCCM/MAM/MDM preferred
3 years of engineering experience with MDM system such as AirWatch, Microsoft Intune, Citrix, MobileIron, and Jamf Pro
3 years of engineering experience with Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, Office 365, SCCM, Mac OSX, Apple IOS, and Android
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and written skills to interact with all levels of staff, management, and attorneys
Strong problem solving ability and experience working with vendors to improve products and services
Ability to present detailed or complicated information in an understandable fashion, in written or verbal form as required by the firm
