Duane Morris LLP, a law firm with 800+ attorneys in offices across the U.S. and internationally, is seeking a Financial Applications Manager for its progressive Information Services group. The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful development, integration, utilization and maintenance of the firm’s financial systems. Will also manage the planning and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures related to the successful development, utilization, integration and maintenance of the Elite Enterprise, Intapp Total Time Management (DTE and Time Builder), Elite Design Gallery, Paperless Proforma, Wilson Allen Proforma Tracker, ARCS, Chrome River, and F9 financial systems, as well as the Wilson Allen Ideate and Elite RAF Warehouse builds.
Supervision of staff responsible for the architecture, enhancements/upgrades, service support and maintenance of the financial systems. Determines work procedures, policies, schedules, and training. Assigns duties and examines work for timeliness, exactness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Responsible for the utilization and maintenance of databases of pertinent accounting information for the firm. Develops accounting, timekeeping and other related procedures and controls in order to improve data input, maintenance and retrieval. On an ongoing basis, improves the timeliness, efficiency, accuracy and level of customer service for all related systems and services.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or accounting or equivalent number of years of experience/education required. Minimum five years progressive financial systems experience, including managing the Elite Enterprise accounting system required. Experience using Intapp Total Time preferred. SQL experience required; law firm or other service industry experience preferred. Outstanding technical skills, including advanced software development knowledge and understanding of Elite software applications and familiarity with financial systems and related domains. Must possess strong staff management skills, including teaching, coaching and mentoring. Solid problem solver with a demonstrated ability to make critical decisions in a timely manner. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization and with outside vendors responsible for providing solutions. Ability to work proactively and effectively in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment.
